Schools and Daycares
Poor indoor air quality in schools is a major public health concern. QVHD conducts yearly inspections of schools, focusing on indoor air quality. District schools, if they havent already, are encouraged to implement the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) TOOLS FOR SCHOOLS Program
QVHD conducts bi-annually inspections of daycares to ensure required standards established by state statutes and regulations are met. The Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) icenses Day Care Centers and Day Care Homes. Visit DPH's Day Care Licensing Program for more information.
